The temperature controller West N6600 (1 / 16DIN) are made to ensure the highest quality in the process control in all those applications that require the heater-break function, in particular in the plastic industry.
The heater-break function for the high alarm, low and short circuit provides the essential protection for both the machinery and for the quality of the product. In a typical extrusion machine, the breakage of one of the heating elements in the adjacent elements causes a compensatory response, causing damage either to the heaters that the extruded product. The controller 6600 keeps under control the current absorbed by each heating element: in this way any fault will be signaled immediately.
The indication for the failure of the heating element, and the current process variables are instantly displayed on the front panel. The display is in two colors and four digits.
